Grad Student Elizabeth Tilly Receives Highly Competitive GIRA Award

Elizabeth received the 2022 Graduate Instrumentation Research award to work on the Development of a Negative Ion Gas TPC to Observe the Migdal Effect.
The GIRA program aims to encourage, recognize, and facilitate greater involvement of physics graduate students in instrumentation development.
As part of the award, Elizabeth will receive a stipend renewable for up to 3 years and will give an invited talk at the upcoming CPAD workshop at Stony Brook University.
