Francis-Yan Cyr-Racine Promoted to Associate Professor; Huaiyu Duan Promoted to Professor

The Department of Physics and Astronomy is proud to announce that Francis-Yan Cyr-Racine has been given tenure and was promoted to Associate Professor. Also, Huaiyu Duan has been promoted to Professor.
Dr. Cyr-Racine joined the UNM Physics and Astronomy faculty in 2019. His areas of research are particle physics, cosmology, and astronomy. More information at his website, darkuniverse.unm.edu.
Dr. Duan joined the department in August 2010. He researches the quantum phenomenon of neutrino oscillations in supernovae and how they affect the chemical evolution of the universe. He also investigates how to utilize the next-generation high performance supercomputers in physics research. See his website for more details.
