Professor Robert Duncan elected Fellow of the American Physical Society

December 1, 2005

Rob DuncanRob Duncan has just been elected as a Fellow of the APS, American Physical Society!

Each year no more than one-half of one percent of the then current membership of the APS are recognized by their peers for election to the status of Fellow. Election to APS Fellowship is recognition by their peers of their outstanding contributions to physics.

In Rob's case it was upon recommendation of the Topical Group on Instrumentation & Measurement Science, with his citation reading

"For pioneering advances in experimental studies of dynamic critical phenomena near the superfluid transition in 4He, and for the development of novel instrumentation and measurement techniques for use on earth and in space."
