Gentry recognized by DOE's Science Graduate Student Research Program

University of New Mexico Department of Physics and Astronomy Graduate student Andrew Gentry was selected recently to receive the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) award to pursue his Ph.D. at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory for a year starting in January 2025, to collaborate in developing novel detectors and electronics.
