Abstract: | Over the last decade, superconducting circuits have made considerable progress on all the requirements necessary for a solid-state quantum computer. Single and two-qubit gates have reached error rates of 1%, entangle states in devices of order 10 qubits have been created and simple algorithms have been demonstrated. Now we are finding that as we increase the size of the system errors such as spectator qubits have become one of the most important errors that need to be addressed. In this talk I will review the work we are doing at IBM on verification and validation methods. | |
