Abstract: Dual-comb interferometers have reshaped the way we compare optical clocks at the femtosecond level and perform spectroscopic measurements of trace gases. Recently, dual-comb interferometry has reached limits associated with coherent states generated by traditional comb sources. In this talk, we will discuss efforts to improve the precision of dual-comb interferometers through the application of quantum states of light. Specifically, we will review modern methods for the generation of squeezed solitons using nonlinear optical fibers and the application of these quantum states for quantum-enhanced dual-comb metrology.
