Quantum correlations in quantum systems are the resource to achieve non-classical features. Therefore, the ability to create correlations and measure them are vital in quantum information science. Here, we study how we can generate entanglement among the atoms of an ensemble via Quantum non-demolition measurement in the presence of decoherence. Later, we investigate how we can deduce 2-body correlations in a symmetric atomic ensemble in the presence of back-action.
