Lodging:

A block of rooms has been reserved for SQuInT participants at the Santa Fe Hilton.

A conference rate ($129/night) will be available until January 16th, subject to availability. You may make your reservations online at the following hotel website

If you will be sharing a room, as is often the case for student participants at SQuInT, it will be necessary for one person to make the reservation and to indicate the name of the other guest. If making your reservation online, please use the space provided for remarks to list the additional name.

Getting to SQuInT 2008

Air Travel

It will likely be most convenient to fly into the Albuquerque International Sunport and then take a shuttle to Santa Fe (approximately 1 hour driving time).

Shuttle Transportation

Shuttle transportatoin from the Sunport to Santa Fe will take 60-90 minutes depending on shuttle occupancy. We recommend using Sandia Shuttle. Reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance, and these can be made at their website or by calling (888) 775-5696

Driving to Santa Fe

If you would prefer to drive from Albuquerque to Santa Fe, directions to the hotel can be found at the following hotel site.

Approximate directions: Take Interstate I-25 North. Exit at St. Francis Drive. Continue to Cerillos Road. Turn right on Cerillos Road and veer left on to Sandoval Street. Continue for a 1/2 mile. The hotel is located at 100 Sandoval St., which will be on the left hand side.

Dining Out:

Santa Fe has an excellent variety of restaurants, and many of them are quite good. Of course, traditional and contemporary New Mexican cuisine is well representedbut you can also find American, French, Indian, Italian, Japanese, Mexican, and Spanish.
