The printers listed here are for the use of Physics & Astronomy faculty, staff, and students. All printers are in a section of PAÍS that is limited to those with prox-card access working in the building. Need prox-card access? Please contact physics@unm.edu
If the printer has run out of paper, or the toner is low, or for any other printer problem, please contact the Physics and Astronomy front desk in PAÍS room 1180 or call 505 277-2616
To add a networked printer to your computer, you need the IP number and the driver for the printer:

The color printer, a Canon PRO-4100S, is in the print room on the second floor of PAÍS. It can print 36-inch prints on the short side. It is for Physics and Astronomy Department and Interdisciplinary Sciences-affiliated researchers to print research posters.
A typical research poster size of 36"x48" would be $51.
Your file should be formatted for portrait printing.
If your poster is wider than it is long, go to Edit/Rotate either clockwise or counterclockwise then save the file. Here is an example of what it should look like.
If we have to print it again due to an error in your file, we must charge for each print, so make sure your file is correctly formatted and spell-checked. We do not do laminations.
