Probing Hadrophilic GeV Scale Particles with Neutron Stars

Presented by Rouzbeh Allahverdi (UNM)

I start by presenting minimal extensions of the Standard Model that involve new fermions with baryon-number-violating coupling to quarks. Then I briefly discuss the consequences of these models for low energy and high energy experiments. Finally, I mention ongoing work that uses neutron stars to tightly constrain such interactions for GeV scale fermions.
