Free workshop for New Mexico Science Teachers

This event will take place Saturday September 18 and Sunday September 19, 2021.

Introduce yourself to particle physics and bring that knowledge back to your classroom!

It's a good artifact for Domain 4: Professionalism.

No prior exposure to the subject is needed.

It will take place at Explora (1701 Mountain Rd NW, Albuquerque).

Every participating teacher will receive $100 per diem and a certificate of participation.

Please bring an internet-capable device such as a laptop/Chromebook/iPad for the hands-on activities. If you are not able to bring such a device, we will pair you with someone who brings one.

This event is sponsored by QuarkNet@UNM.

If you have questions, please contact Sally Seidel at seidel@unm.edu or (505) 277-2087
