Four Corners APS Wrap Up

The American Physical Society's 25th Anniversary annual Four Corners meeting was held Friday and Saturday, October 14 & 15, 2022 at UNM PAÍS.

According to UNM Physics and Astronomy Department Chair Richard Rand, the event was a "splendid success. By all reports it was an particularly well-run Four Corners meeting ... despite the large attendance of 272."

Several UNM faculty delivered presentations including plenary presentations by Keith Lidke, Diana Dragomir, and Andrew Landahl. Mousumi Roy, Francis-Yan Cyr-Racine, and Tara Drake also delivered invited talks on their research.

UNM P&A Award Winners

• UNM Physics student Mallory Harris won the Harry Lustig Award for the best graduate student presentation.
• UNM Faculty member Diana Dragomir won the Spherical Cow Award.
• UNM Faculty member Tara Drake won the Senior Most Prolific Judge Award.
