Oh, The Places You'll Go with a Physics Degree
Presented by Alison Peck (NSF)
People choose to get a MS or PhD in Physics for a variety of reasons, but the careers we hear about most often are university faculty positions. There are many more possibilities, however. Any degree in Physics demonstrates resourcefulness, discipline and problem-solving skills, qualities that appeal to employers everywhere. This means that you may have a good chance to work in any field you choose. I will talk about a few of these options, and provide more detail on some that I have tried myself, from Lab Tech to Fed.
