Quantum computation: Foundation, many-body physics, and physical realization

Presented by Professor Akimasa Miyake, UNM

Recent developments of quantum information science and technology over a couple of decades bring a physical realization of medium-scale quantum computers within reach. In this talk, I will outline chances and challenges in studying quantum computation and complexity, through the lens of my own theoretical research activities at UNM.
