Physics and Astronomy Colloquium
Presented by Professor John Schwarz, Caltech
An ambitious program in theoretical physics is the construction of a unified theory of all particles and forces based on fundamental strings. This talk will give a quick overview of the history, concepts, and prospects of string theory.
3:30 pm, Friday, October 20, 2017
Room 125, Dane Smith Hall
Southwest corner of Las Lomas and Yale, Albuquerque, New Mexico
Refreshments will be available before the colloquium, at 3:15 pm, in the lobby of Dane Smith Hall.
