Effect of collisions on collective neutrino oscillations

Presented by Shashank Shalgar, LANL

I will talk about my ongoing work on the topic of collective neutrino oscillations in the early universe.
It has been speculated for some time now that collective neutrino oscillations could significantly modify the collective neutrino oscillations and the parameter range in which collective neutrino oscillations can happen. I will present some preliminary results that quantify these results in the context of the early universe and speculate about the impact this could have on our understanding on various aspects of cosmology.
