Neutrino oscillations in matter

Presented by Lei Ma, UNM

I'll talk about some background about vacuum neutrino oscillations and neutrino oscillations in matter, as well as an interesting phenomenon, which is called stimulated neutrino oscillations due to matter effect. A lot of research has been done about neutrino oscillation in the matter, including stimulated neutrino oscillations. However, we do not find it transparent enough to understand. Here I'll present a method to get more understanding out of stimulated neutrino oscillations.
