Lattice Calculations of Beyond-Standard-Model Candidate Theories

Presented by Professor Thomas DeGrand, Department of Physics, University of Colorado

Over the last few years lattice techniques have been applied to a wide variety of physical systems which are candidates for new physics beyond the Standard Model. This is a large, emerging, but not too coherent area of research. I will try to explain what the interesting questions are and give a few examples of models that have been studied.
