Quantum metrology for dynamical systems
Presented by Mankei Tsang, National University of Singapore
Ever since the inception of gravitational-wave detectors, quantum limits to the detection and estimation of time-varying signals have been a subject of intense research and debate. In this talk I shall present the quantum bounds that settle the long-standing issue. Quantum optical techniques that can attain the bounds experimentally are also discussed
