Scientific Computing with GPUs

 Series:  Computational Physics Seminar
 Abstract:  Graphical Processor Units (GPUs) have become increasingly popular for accelerating computation.  In this talk I will give a brief overview of GPUs before focusing on considerations for using GPUs for computing.  I will also provide an introduction to Nvidia's CUDA platform and the cupy Python module.
