| Abstract: | Quantum error correcting codes can be combined with weak measurements and quantum feedback operations to implement quantum error correction continuously in time. We demonstrate that this approach can be applied to devise effective continuous error correction schemes for quantum annealing, and explore different options for feedback protocols. We analyze the relative efficacy of error detecting and error correcting codes and the relative benefits of different paradigms of quantum encoding via subspace and subsystem codes. | |
