 Welcome to the webpage for Physics 161, the second semester of calculus-based physics.  This term we will be studying the triumphs of nineteenth-century physics: electricity, magnetism, induction, and thermodynamics.  On this page you will find extra course materials that will aid you in this concentrated Summer semester.  Lecture slides, audio podcasts, homework, and mini-test solutions will be posted as they become available.  If you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Podcasts:

Here’s where you can find the links for our Physics 161 class’s Podcasts.   There are two ways for you to get your hands on the podcasts.   You can either subscribe to the podcasts through Itunes or listen to the files directly.

To subscribe, simply follow or paste into a non-google Chrome browser the link below.   After you are subscribed, you’ll need to hit “refresh” in Itunes in order to see all of the podcasts:     itpc://panda.unm.edu/Courses/morgan-tracy/161/phys161.xml

If you are a non-Itunes lover, you can simply listen to each lecture by following the links below.   (Notice that each file name contains the date, so you can figure out which lecture you’re looking for.)

Homework:

Files with the homework problems will be posted when I decide what's going to be on the homework assignments!  Homework solutions will be posted here on Fridays shortly after the due time.
